Yes!! Just hook up the overflow to a old hose. Cut slots or poke holes and create a low pressure soaker hose

That is awesome! I’m so happy your family enjoyed putting together our DIY Rain Barrel project … I am defiantly coming back , Lucas and I have set May 26th aside for a compost workshop where we will build compost tumblers and have fun learning about the many benefits of composting!

Thanks a million for coming out! My three boys and I had to skate before we could join in the group project, but we put together our kit at home in a snap, and they loved every minute of it! (Especially rolling the barrel down the hill to get it home)

I enjoyed your article and especially the “before” photo of Bird Key. I have never seen that photo before. I remember Bob’s Boat house had a lot of old Sarasota photos in the lobby. Is there any place in town you know of where they keep these old photos? I think sharing these is a good thing.

Great idea Maxi! I think we can and should track 55 gallon drum and IBC life. I have a company that produces stickers, labels, and decals for the drum industry to supply to there clients in Minnesota. We have expertise in creating labels that can stick to Poly, steel, and fiberglass containers if your project calls for options on how to label successfully. A good recap of the Conference and I agree that "Sustainability" was quite the buzz word! As I've said many times, steel drums were/are one of the first packagings to go "green."

It was great to be together and foster our network of "professional friendships."
